The marketplace was a bustling place after the tower fell. The shopkeepers were struggling to keep up with demand as would-be-adventurers bought supplies in droves. Everyone was determined to figure out the mysteries of the tower and win the queen’s favour and her gold. It was history in the making.
As Casimir the 8 ft leonada wandered through these busy streets. His heterochromatic eyes were quick to notice the raising prices of essential goods. His rounded ears caught whispers of someone pawning off a magical item for a lucrative amount of gold. Despite this, the feline seemed more amused by the pandemonium.
In this chaos, the retired rogue was easily able to spot chances for thievery. A jeweler who was busy dealing with customers. Her wares gleamed in the sunlight, begging to find a new home in the shroud of darkness. It would have been a simple affair to purloin her wears, however the Lord of Enchantress’s Way knew better.
Instead his attention was then caught by a few mischievous kids. Their movements were trained in the subtle art of thievery. The younger girl was running distraction, chatting with what she assumed was a general goods storeman. The older child was slinking around the side. The feline stood still and folded his arms and observed their attempts.
